After going a thorough review process, the textbooks are approved by the Ministry of Education for use in all SJK(C) primary schools in Malaysia. The main focus of the compilation of this textbook falls on the integration of practical value with humanities. This textbook is compiled according to unit. There are a total of 28 units throughout this textbook. Besides, there are 8 articles selected from the articles written by overseas and local writers as self-study materials.

The contents of this textbook closely correspond with the development of pupils’ mind and ability. The topic chosen are related to pupils’ life. The activities in this textbook mainly targeted at pupils.
