Malaysia Primary School Chinese Textbooks are selected by Ministry of Education Malaysia. After going a thorough review process, the textbooks are approved by the Ministry of Education for use in all SJK(C) primary schools in Malaysia. The current Primary School Chinese Textbook Year 1 and Year 2 are published by our company - The Malaya Press Sdn. Bhd. 网络版小学一和二年级的电子华文课本的内容，是完全取自一和二年级的华文课本纸质书。 马来西 亚小学华文课本是经由马来西亚教育部正式遴选、审查和认证的指定教科书，供全国华文小学的学生作为学习华文的课本使用。目前，华文小 学一和二年级华文课本是由本社马来亚文化事业有限公司所出版的。

The textbook is compiled based on the curriculum concepts written in the “Chinese Language Curriculum for Primary Schools” which issued by the Ministry of Education Malaysia in 2010. The main focus of the compilation of this textbook falls on the integration of practical value with humanities. This textbook is compiled according to unit. There are a total of 28 units throughout this textbook. Besides, there are 8 articles selected from the articles written by overseas and local writers as self-study materials. The contents of this textbook closely correspond with the development of pupils’ mind and ability.

The topic chosen are related to pupils’ life. The activities in this textbook mainly targeted at pupils. Therefore, the activities chosen revolve around pupils’ life in order to encourage pupils to take initiative in learning, to think positively and to enjoy the joy of learning.
