We are celebrating the transformative power of community education and calling on Government, North and South, to address the critical issues facing workers and learners in the sector. Join the conversation on social media with the hashtag #CommunityEducation Under the slogan ‘Local, Lifelong, Life-Changing’ we will share inspiring learner stories on local and national media that shine a light on the transformational impact of community education. We advocate and lobby for quality education for all adults, and raise awareness of the impact of adult learning on people’s lives and on society

The theme for this year’s AGM was ‘Connecting Communities’ and featured some thought-provoking discussions with learners and those who work within the sector. Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for the Adult Learners’ Festival in 2025, which celebrated “Connecting Communities”. The adult and community education sector came together to hold 149 events across 26 counties in 2025!
