My Teaching Library has evolved from very small beginnings. In 2010, a small site was created to help homeschooling families come together and support one another. It quickly became apparent that there was a need for quality, low-cost, educational material for these families. Lynda Ackert (the founder) was a veteran education of 20+ years and knew she could begin compiling and creating these materials and created the Download Club. As the site began to offer more materials, teachers outside the homeschooling community began to find and want access. The site grew and a company was formed: CHSH-Teach, LLC.

Over the next several years, platforms changed and demand for materials increased. The company needed to expand, secure and create a space for everyone to find the educational materials they needed. Thus, My Teaching Library was created. CHSH-Teach (and now My Teaching Library) is best known for the Download Club. The Download Club is a subscription membership that allows the members to have unlimited access to products, as long as their subscriptions are active. Non-subscribers will need to purchase all products individually.

Because of our history, you may see “My Teaching Library” and “CHSH-Teach” used interchangeably. MTL has designed the site so that you can easily search for the resources you need based on grade level, subject, or other criteria such as seasonal, type of resource, etc! In 2010, experienced educator Lynda Ackert began sharing a few of her educational worksheets and unit studies with parents and teachers through a small blog site. In 2014, she formed her parent company CHSH-Teach, LLC as demand for her resources grew. By 2018, plans for her new website, My Teaching Library, were realized.

Today, Lynda continues to create exciting new resources for the library. A library filled with thousands of ready-to-use, printable downloads. Lynda has 30+ years of experience in education. She has earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in education and the other in psychology. She has also completed multiple postgraduate courses. She worked in the public school system in the U.S.

and Japan before becoming a full-time homeschooling parent. Her educational journey and teaching experiences have only solidified her belief that every child is a masterpiece and thus are all different. Trying to teach them all the same isn’t the answer. If you are like me and you teach 2 completely different grades, you are always looking for products that you can use for both students while not breaking the bank. ...I was blown away by the amount of materials I found... One thing you'll notice right away that differentiates CHSH-Teach.com from other download sites is that far from offering only worksheets (although the worksheets are awesome - I love them!), this site offers entire courses... If you want to find most of your homeschool resources in one place, or if you’re on a tight homeschool budget, you can’t go wrong with CHSH’s Download Club I'd say My Teaching Library is about saving time and sanity. This is a well organized site that is just brimming with resources for every grade level and nearly every subject.

You can search by category, topic, or keyword. There is a HUGE chart to click through based on subject, grade, or category. Everything feels like it's right there at your fingertips just waiting to be accessed. Need a book unit study? They've got them. Need a book?
