Then you read the reviews on their profile that they have made about various other businesses. Just to name a few, Barbie Nails, Glamour Salon, Nordstrom Rack, and theyre crying for assistance??? After being ENSURED that I would have rental assistance until 2024, I then caught off guard to be notified that my assistance will be paused and my application would require a renewal. Upon an immediate renewal, I then found myself in the same predicament I was in when I initially applied for assistance and was asked to submit the same documents over and over again, for... After several months of me reaching out via calls and emails that led to absolutely nothing but lies from laziest workers Ive ever spoken to, I just so happened to check my application status... I have no idea how this can happen after I was already receiving the appropriate assistance to my current, accurately listed landlord. It doesnt end there!
After noticing such an error I immediately went back to calls and emails as there is nothing else I was able to do, and once again I was met with nothing but lies. Initially when I spoke with NJDCA I was told Oh this is an easy fix dont worry at all. After months of no contact whatsoever I finally get in contact with them just to hear Oh sorry looks like we have to investigate this and it could take up to 6 months. It is an absolute shame the way the NJDCA treats its residents. Nothing but lies, false promises and misleading information from anyone you speak to. You cannot get in contact with a supervisor or manager regardless of how hard you tried, good look getting some actual help on the phone after waiting more than 2 hours on hold, they...
