The Open Learning Centre (OLC) offers a choice of computer training opportunities. Learners have the option to attend short courses in small group classes within the Centre or avail of online training. We provide easy to follow class notes and revision exercises to reinforce learning and build confidence. Tutors are on hand to answer questions, provide support and offer guidance throughout the training process. City of Dublin FET College, Crumlin, Southwest Campus (formerly Crumlin College) has built an excellent reputation over 65 years by providing education and training programmes of highest quality. The OLC provides computer classes to everyone in the commmunity and is an excellent service of which anybody can avail.

Our part-time courses are designed to help adults improve their reading, writing, spelling, and maths. They are available mornings or evenings weekly. Both one to one tuition and group tuition are available.

The College operates under the authority of the City of Dublin ETB. All enrolments are subject to the regulations and policies of the City of Dublin ETB and all applications received will be treated in a fair and equal manner. All enrolments are subject to the regulations & policies (including Admissions Policy) of the City of Dublin ETB and the City of Dublin FET College, Crumlin, Southwest Campus Admissions Policy. These are on display & available in the College. Places will be offered upon successful completion of interviews. This offer of a place will also be subject to all entry requirements of a particular course being satisfied in full.

Crumlin College of Further Education, Crumlin Road, Dublin 12 Crumlin College of Further Education Crumlin Road Dublin 12 This one year course is ideally suited to artistic students who have a creative flair and are interested in pursuing a career in Graphic Design or Advertising.

It combines essential drawing skills with the use of modern creative media applications such as InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator. This is a practical course providing students with the technical skills necessary for a career in Graphic Design. Students supplement their studies one day a week with work experience in advertising agencies or other related areas. Students may also progress to degree programmes at participating Higher Level Institutions. A video guide to the CAO for QQI/Further Education applicants can be viewed here. Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education.

A proven ability in Art would be an advantage & students should have an interest in art & design. Exemptions may be granted to mature students. This course prepares the learner for direct entry onto level 7 / 8 degree programmes in Information Technology at HE Institutes. The learner also gains the skills necessary to take up entry level positions as junior programmers and in a range of IT Systems Support roles. QQI Level 5 Information Processing – 5M2067
