The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of stair gait training on balance and gait ability of strokepatients. This study examined the effects of stair gait exercise on the static balance ability & gait of chronicstroke patients.The thirty stroke patients who participated in this experiment were conveniently assigned to anexperimental (n=30) group. The experimental group performed stair gait exercise for 30 minutes & 30 minutesof stair gait exercise, The programs lasted four weeks, with group performing the exercises five times per weekfor 30 minutes each time. Task oriented walking intervention is a novel approach used for stroke rehabilitation.

The purpose of this research study was to compare the effects of the task oriented walking interventions with the conservative rehabilitation for improvement of balance in the chronic stroke patients. The study was a randomized control trial, conducted in hospital settings. 48 patients with predefined inclusion and Exclusion criteria were selected. Subjects were randomly allocated into 2 groups. After obtaining consent, data was collected via self-structured questionnaire, 06 minutes-walk test, Timed "Up and Go" test, and Berg Balance Scale. Group one received Task-Oriented Walking Intervention interventions and conventional treatment while control group received conventional interventions only.

Data was analyzed by SPSS version 24. The results showed that, there were 54% males and 46% females. After 6 weeks of intervention experimental group receiving task oriented training along with conventional interventions showed significant improvement in balance with P-value <0.005 for all the three scales TUG, BBS and 6MWT as compared... The contribution of beekeeping is one of the most important income-generating activities for millions of smallholder farmers in Ethiopia. This study was intended to assess beekeeping practices and potential in three kebeles of Kellem Wollega zone Western Ethiopia. Primary data were collected from144 respondents proportionally selected from each Kebeles. Semi-structured questionnaire were employed to collect the primary data. Focus-group discussion was also used to support interpretation of the interview data. Basically, descriptive statistics were used to analyses the data.

All respondents use traditional honey production system despite some recent trials. The mean colony ownership of the sample beekeepers is 16.9 colonies per house hold. The study showed that the annual honey production per beehive varies from 5 to 20.68kg, with a mean production of 11.25kg. The majority of the respondents harvest two times per year. This might be due to the special floral calendar of tropical plants found in the areas. The study finds the mean colony ownership is 16.9 colonies per household, which is lower than the Jimma zone average of 35 colonies per household.
