Pokémon Moves Debut Generation Jetpunk
As of Generation IX, there are 934 different moves in the core series games. This number includes all G-Max Moves, and considers the physical and special versions of each Z-Move as the same move. This page contains every move in the games in order of their index number and categorized by the generation in which they debuted. Shadow moves are moves exclusive to Shadow Pokémon in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
They are forgotten when a Shadow Pokémon is purified. In Colosseum, Shadow Rush is the only Shadow move and is the 356th move by index number order. These moves have been removed in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Excavate and Spin Slash cannot be learned by any Pokémon without the use of a cheating device.
