The project for a Summit of the Future Information Clearinghouse (ICH) is an independent, collaborative endeavor providing a variety of stakeholder audiences with access to accurate, objective and timely information focused on the Summit... Project partners include: Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD), Coalition for the UN We Need (C4UN, the project’s administrative home), Global Governance Innovation Network (GGIN), International Development Law Organization (IDLO), and the Present and Future... Initial work on the project has begun. A project launch took place at the Global Futures Forum, which was held 20-21 March, 2023 in New York. Additional ICH monitoring and information services will come online as the SOTF preparatory discussions move forward. This ICH preliminary site includes (a) recent reports summarizing UN General Assembly discussions related to various SOTF processes and (b) a listing of key resources.

This report presents the first round of findings from the Stakeholder Mapping Survey conducted by the Information Clearinghouse team at the Coalition for the UN We Need (C4UN). It captures how civil society, academia, youth networks, and other actors are engaging with the Pact for the Future and its Annexes. Drawing on 62 responses from every major world region, the report maps a rich spectrum of activity, ranging from grassroots digital inclusion initiatives in Bangladesh to intergenerational governance work in Switzerland, offering a grounded... Respondents call for concrete next steps. These include accessible and sustained funding for organizations in the Global South, the creation of formal and institutionalized platforms for youth participation at all levels, and the establishment of robust accountability mechanisms supported by... Stakeholders also emphasize the need for deeper reforms within multilateral institutions, more inclusive approaches to peacebuilding, and stronger protection of human rights and environmental standards across all areas of the Pact.
The survey remains open for additional input, with future iterations expected to deepen this mapping and refine implementation strategies. The report affirms a clear message: meaningful and inclusive implementation of the Pact requires more than vision. It demands commitment, coordination, and shared ownership across regions and sectors. Russia continues to warn against NATO involvement in the war, but a senior officer at the alliance suggests they could go a step further as a form of "defensive action".
