Get it here! The Simply Teach Phonics lessons and texts were written to be used as your daily Tier 1 phonics instruction. These lessons follow the Science of Reading and include the alphabetic principle, phonemic awareness and text application.
We use the lesson pattern of phonemic awareness warm-up, sound-spelling review, blending procedure and practice, irregular word review and introduction, text reading and dictation. These steps prepare students to read the text successfully, remember irregular words, learn decoding strategies and the sound-spellings. Each Round includes multiple weeks of instruction. Each week of instruction includes four lessons, decodable text, and irregular word posters. The download includes all you need to be able to teach. Tips for instruction and lots of videos.
