This five color reduction print is a portrait of my sweet dog Milo, who I've nicknamed "Pink Boy" for his pink belly and snout. If you are lucky enough to meet someone who loves you so well that you start to love yourself, tell them thank you. This drawing takes a stand in the uncomfortable conversation of eating disorders. It opposes black and white images of the destruction of under-eating to colored images of "problem areas" that I used to be self conscious of. This drawing explores personal struggles I have had with my health. In 2016 I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and refused to accept it.

I never took my medication and my body suffered because of it. This painting is an indirect self-portait. I chose three objects, a Yankees hat, an Auburn shaker, and seashells, to represent who I am.
