5 AI Startups ได้แก่ AThenaAI, Perceptra, Gowajee, Eidy และ Float16 ได้ร่วมกับเปิดตัว AI Startup Alliance และ AI Developer Group AI Startup Alliance คือความร่วมมือระหว่างบริษัททั้ง 5 บริษัท เนื่องมาจากปัญหาสำคัญที่พบในอุตสาหกรรม AI ของประเทศไทย คือเกิดจากโครงสร้างของอุตสาหกรรม AI ที่ยังไม่เหมาะสมเท่าที่ควร เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับอุตสาหกรรม AI ของประเทศชั้นนำของโลก ตัวอย่างโครงสร้าง Value chain สำหรับอุตสาหกรรม AI ในต่างประเทศแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ลำดับขั้น ได้แก่ ปัญหาหลักของ AI Startup ในปัจจุบัน คือความจำเป็นต้องทำทุกอย่างตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำ (การซื้อหรือเช่าเซิร์ฟเวอร์เอง) ไปจนถึงปลายน้ำ (การให้บริการ AI ผ่านแอปพลิเคชันของตนเอง) เพื่อให้สามารถบริการลูกค้าได้ ส่งผลให้ต้องใช้ทีมงานขนาดใหญ่และต้องทำงานในส่วนที่ไม่ใช่ความเชี่ยวชาญหลักของผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท ความร่วมมือระหว่าง 5 AI Startup ที่มารวมตัวกันในครั้งนี้ จึงเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของปรากฏการณ์ใหม่ในวงการ AI Startup ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมให้เกิดการ โครงสร้างหรือระบบนิเวศที่มีผู้เล่นหลากหลาย เพื่อทดแทนการสร้างทุกอย่างอย่างโดดเดียว อันอาจส่งผลให้ AI ไทยไม่สามารถแข่งขันในตลาดโลกได้ Thailand’s AI industry faces significant challenges due to its fragmented structure.

Unlike leading global markets with well-defined AI value chains, Thai startups often have to manage everything independently—from infrastructure (datacenters and servers) to end-user applications. This “do-it-all” approach requires substantial resources and expertise, which many startups lack, ultimately stifling their growth and innovation. The AI Startup Alliance envisions a collaborative ecosystem that encourages specialization, reduces redundancies, and fosters innovation across the entire AI value chain. By working together, these startups hope to build a more competitive AI industry that aligns with global standards. The Alliance is built around four key dimensions of cooperation: The AI Startup Alliance seeks to benefit all players within the AI ecosystem:

To amplify its impact, the Alliance will also produce edutainment content on AI technology, develop regional knowledge-sharing initiatives, and create a Southeast Asian AI researcher community. These efforts aim to deepen collaboration across borders and elevate Thailand’s position as an AI innovation hub in Asia. 5 AI Startups included AThenaAI, Perceptra, Gowajee, Eidy and Float16 Launch AI Startup Alliance and AI Developer Group. The AI Startup Alliance is a collaboration between 5 startups, formed in response to the current landscape of the AI industry in Thailand. This initiative recognizes that the AI industry structure in Thailand is less mature and experienced compared to leading countries, particularly in terms of the AI industry value chain structure. Generally, this structure is divided into 5 layers:

A common challenge faced by AI startups is the necessity to manage all aspects from infrastructure to service and solution delivery to provide value propositions to customers independently. This situation often leads to unnecessary team scaling and forces founders to engage in tasks outside their areas of specialization. The collaboration among these 5 AI startups aims to be a catalyst for transforming the AI value chain in Thailand, aligning it more closely with practices in leading countries. Their objective is to support all players (companies) within the value chain in enhancing AI literacy, gaining fundamental knowledge about AI, and facilitating adaptation to new positions within the evolving value chain. The ultimate goal of the alliance is to establish a suitable value chain by creating an AI Developer Group. This group will serve as a platform for demonstration, discussion, and exchange of ideas on how to integrate AI into application features through collaboration with government, private, and public sectors.
