Welcome to my website! This page is dedicated to telling the story of me. My name is Autumn and I'm a bachelor's student at Arizona State University majoring in Media Arts and Science. Storyboarder, designer, and creative. I blend user interfaces with artistic creativity and then bring them to life. I’m a Media Arts and Sciences major at Arizona State University with a love for blending technology and art.

My experience spans from front-end development, UI design to digital illustration. I have experience working hands-on with Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, and web development programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoy bringing ideas to life through both code and creativity! My K-pop Quiz is designed to ask you questions and then give you a K-pop group you're most likely to enjoy listening to. The quiz was developed using Html, CSS, and JavaScript. My goal was to create a fun, clean designed, interactive quiz while challenging my knowledge of JavaScript.

Role: Designer & Front-End Developer Tools & Technologies: Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Timeline: 3–4 Weeks (Solo Project) The K-Pop Creation Quiz is an interactive web experience inspired by Buzzfeed-style personality quizzes. It was designed to determine which K-Pop group the user is most associated with, based on a series of fun, visually engaging questions. This project was both a UI design and development challenge, which allowed me to explore how front-end logic and interface design can come together to create an engaging, seamless user experience. My goal was to make a quiz that was interactive, cohesive, and easy to use, while maintaining a polished visual identity. The CodeDevils website serves as a primary touchpoint for prospective members, but the original design suffered from poor navigation and engagement. My goal was to create a more user-friendly and approachable interface that clearly communicates who Code Devils are, what they offer, and how to join. Tools: Figma (design), Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, Next.js (for future development) Goal: Re-design the CodeDevils at ASU website to make it cleaner, more navigable, and more inviting for potential and current members. Timeline: On-going, Design complete, Development in progress.

I have been an Old Dominion Student since 2018 and began as a Computer Science major! Though I still have a love for coding and IT, I have found true motivation and passion for helping people. While empathy and personal connection have come to me naturally, I have been working to expand the demographics of people I work with. Different social characteristics, such as race, class, gender, and culture, all change a person's life and their experiences. In order to be the best Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, and ultimately friend to the people in my life, I strive to constantly grow in my world view. I have been blessed with 5 siblings: one older brother, one younger brother and 3 younger sisters.

Being one of the older children in our family, especially the oldest daughter, I have really enjoyed being a mentor and caregiver to them. Now that they are entering their teenage years, our relationship has grown stronger as they are facing new challenges in their lives. We are all very close to each other as well as our parents. My mom and dad have always stressed "Family first," and that we look out for each other, so we have been very close. I have loved making memories with them all over the years, whether it be car rides full of music and ice cream, or playing in the backyard, my siblings are and always will be... While I started in high school, college has allowed me to delve into hobbies that I love, such as tabletop gaming.

I can stress the importance of the social bonds and skills I have developed while trying to defeat orcs in a dungeon, it is honestly just fun. I have made some great friends doing this and enjoy the various personalities that I meet during our games. There’s a good mixture of outgoing, charismatic people, and quieter, introspective people and I have loved how everyone in our group is open and accepting of each other. As I’m nearing the completion of my bachelor’s degree, I am looking forward to the challenges and adventures ahead of me. I am eager to pour myself into a new career, and to furthering my education in pursuit of my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and ultimately my certification and new role as a professional... I will always appreciate my family, my friends, and all my teachers who have helped inspire me and get me in the stage of life I am now.

I currently work as Nursery leader at Great Bridge United Methodist Church. Here, I care for children ages 0-3 and aid them in their journey with God with stories, dance, and coloring. This job requires that I continue to be CPR certified for adults and children and have an updated background check. I'm an enthusiastic and energetic teacher, my primary purpose for becoming a teacher is to make my future students see their potential, and assist them in achieving all the goals they set out before... I aim to have a close, caring relationship with my students and make sure they can trust me wholeheartedly. I believe in making my teaching environment one of positivism and caring for one another all while learning in safe and fun ways.

In conclusion, my classroom and teaching focus on respect and care for one another so everyone can benefit and reach their goals, together. My mother taught me how to enjoy life regardless of what comes my way.

I also make wine in my basement. I am a US Army Active-Duty veteran. After the Army, I started college at Ozarks Technical Community College. Before graduating, I along with my wife, Audra and our two boys, moved to South Africa for two years. We traveled and worked in many amazing countries. I have traveled to all 50 States and visited 28 countries.

I recently started a personal travel blog that documents our adventures and showcase some of my photographs. At age 50, I went back to finish my degree. I have been a student at Missouri State University since Spring 2021. I am a Professional Writing Major with a Photography Minor. There is something interesting and unique even in the most uninteresting places, you might just have to search to find it. We take advantage of every opportunity to travel and see the world we find ourselves in.

I'm studying English, economics, and writing, and this portfolio is the final project from the gateway course for the Sweetland Minor in Writing! When I saw the assignment to find an origin piece–a piece to use as a starting point and eventually change into a new genre–my mind immediately went to my Harry Styles postmodern analysis from... It stood out to me from the very beginning of this process because it was the piece that I remembered feeling the most creative I had ever felt when engaging with writing. It was about one of my favorite artists and a topic that interested me in a way that I had never experienced before. Postmodernism, as well as Harry Styles, have so much to offer, and I already knew that my origin piece didn’t do the piece justice; I knew it could be improved and perfected. Initially, I went to what, in my opinion, was the most logical genre for the topic: a feature article in a magazine.
