​During my 3 years at university, I have built my confidence in costume construction which has enabled me to develop a variety of costumes that I would never imagine I could do. One of my new-found interests is machine embroidery which I developed through my final project in Element 2. I would love to explore this further at industry level, it is a relaxing job that adds life to a garment. I also really enjoyed making and designing for a pantomime brief. The pantomime genre allows for a playful and wacky style of costuming which I had a lot of fun with. With my skills of fabric buying, the fabric I chose really brought the design to life.

Designing is something I am particularly interested in, the creative style of producing moodboards and rough drawings for characters that bring them to life is something I really enjoy. Thank you so much for visiting my protfolio. I am an aspiring cybersecurity professional and have designed this portfolio to allow folks who are interested to get to know me a bit better. Some background about me is that I was born in North Carolina in the city of High Point. From there, my family and I moved to Florida. During this move, I was around the young age of 6. I went to elementary school, middle school, and freshman year of high school all in Florida until we moved out to Williamsburg Virginia.

It was certainly an adjustment as far as weather goes! I Completed high school at Lafayette high school in Williamsburg and from there attended Thomas Nelson or now known as Virginia Peninsula community college. I completed my associates degree with VPCC and from there transferred to Old Dominion University where I am now working towards my Bachelors in cybersecurity. While in high school I was a proud member of the Tennis and basketball teams. Tennis is a sport which was taught to me and instilled in me as a child. When I moved to Virginia, the tennis coach approached me and said "You look like a tennis player" in an attempt to recruit anybody that would be willing to play to join the team.

Litle did he know I actually was, and I was pretty good at it too. The funny thing about this is that I had no intentions of picking up a tennis racket but decided I would return to the sport and start taking it serious again after that the... From there I worked my way up and became the number 1 tennis player on the team my freshman year and attended regionals as the number 1 for my school. Basketball on the other hand was something I had a passion for more than anything. I loved basketball and played it nonstop every day. The difference between tennis and basketball was that I was naturally just really good at tennis to where I was on another level from casual players.

Basketball on the other hand I really had to work since I wasnt the tallest, fastest, or strongest guy on the court. I played one year of junior varsity and 1 year of varsity. While I wish I could go back and focus more on tennis than I did basketball, I am still proud of what all I was able to accomplish in both sports throughout my high... I'm a paragraph.
