Hi there 🙌🏻 ! I’m Andreea ( sometimes Mew) and I have a passion for makeup, beauty, living my life smiling, and cats (if that’s not obvious) 🐱 What am I doing here? Well that’s easy; in my 23 years (yeah I know ..not that many) I’ve learned a few tips & tricks which I thought you might find useful. Either if it’s related to my colorful makeup looks, my oh-not-so-good fashion style, my pawsome 🐾 little friend or my stumbly life, this blog will aim to put a smile on your face and... 🤞🏻

As a 360° fashion creative specialising in luxury fashion content creation, trend forecasting & social media marketing, achieving the highest level of quality content & deliverables is an integral part of my work ethic. With an exceptional eye for detail, I consistently strive to further my skill set & gain new knowledge. I am highly organised & keen to take initiative in projects, as well as working collaboratively, to accomplish & exceed objectives. With a creative and can-do mindset, I excel in a fast paced & dynamic environment. I seek inspiration from popular culture and upcoming trends, by being observant of, and immersed into different subcultures and their responses to these factors. Developments in the expression and consumption of these groups are often reflective of the times and the direction of the industry.

I keep a finger on the pulse of pop culture, trends and patterns by attending industry events & actively observing up-and-coming talent. My personal interest in social media content creation and lifestyle curation allow me to trend-forecast effectively. I have a keen interest in sustainability, and how industries are deeply intertwined with the impact of environmental and social aspects of society. Growing up like most kids in the late 80’s and early 90’s I watched a lot of Disney VHS tapes. Animation was always important in my life but I didn't realize until much later that I wanted to make films. After high school, I met my wife and started working at whatever job I could find to pay the bills.

Eventually, I realized I wasn't doing anything that I could be proud of and decided to go back to school. My decision to major in animation was cemented when I took my then two-year-old son to see Monsters University. The film was visually beautiful and told a heartfelt story at the same time. I now have a six-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter with my wonderful wife of ten years. When time allows us we enjoy exploring and learning about the world around us. We enjoy camping, visiting zoos, aquariums, and art museums.

My son’s interest in everything I do is my favorite part about creating. We share a mutual admiration of the things I have learned and I look forward to creating something he and I are proud of. Through my education and practice at home I have learned to love Maya and all of the ways it can help me create animation. Using Maya fluids, particle systems, rigid and soft bodies, and the Maya Nucleus system I am able to create many visual effects. In addition to Maya I am experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, and Audition. I have also worked in Unity, Zbrush, Mudbox, and Dragonframe and can easily pick up new programs when needed.

I'm not quite done with Higher Education and learning, and may not be for a little while. Intrinsically I am motivated by the need to 'do good' , that my skills, qualifications and experience are used in benefiting others, enabling realisation of my self-actualisation needs. Presently undertaking my MSc in Public Relations at USW researching Political Participation focusing on the issue of Brexit and Welsh youth. My name is Andrew I am in middle school. My favorite thing to do in my free time is build things and play video games. My favorite sport is football and base ball and my favorite food is pizza.
