Since beginning my journey in this field, my dedication to the work I create and motivation to grow have led me to exceptional projects and experiences. I am proud to present and share examples of my greatest works in multiple fields. From a young age, I had a vision for what I wanted my future to look like. As the persistent and goal-driven person that I am, I decided to pursue my dreams of learning more about the arts. These past couple years, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I have been able to experience new mediums and strive everyday with new ideas.

I started Graphic Design classes my junior year of high school and decided to stick with it to my senior year. I have enjoyed getting to know the community of Graphic Design Club and helping with intern work. I intern for my high school graphic design teacher working for her clients to make social media designs, Etsy design, and learning website design. I took ceramics my first semester of my senior year of high school, I started out with no experience with clay. I was nervous and hesitant at first to make 3-Dimensional pieces. I am now pursuing a major in Visual Arts, specifically ceramics.

Working with clay has improved my drawing skills and I have loved being able to bring my interests into sculpting and also make functional pieces. I graduated in 2019 from Liverpool John Moores with a Media, Culture and Communication degree. Then completed a Masters degree in Documentary. I used to do filming as a hobby but now I want to do it for a career. There are so many stories yet to be told and I'd like to be the one to tell them. I have worked hard to develop skills in school and the arts through persistence and dedication. I have been able to experience a fully supported art community and it has opened up my eyes to all types of cultures and art styles. I have interned as a graphic designer, working on projects with and for my design instructor. It has helped broaden my ideas and communication skills. Lately I have picked up some paid commissions to sharpen my drawing skills. I had a great experience with my ceramics teacher my senior year in high school.

It was his first year teaching high school ceramics and I couldn't be happier to be in his class. I have learned many skills that have given me different perspectives and push me out of my comfort zone. I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. The patience and technique that goes into drawing has always fascinated me. Whether it be a character or a realistic drawing, it impresses me when artists can recreate their ideas on paper. Seeing artists professional work has pushed me to do the same.

I use my drawing skills to sketch out ideas for other mediums of art and design. It is a skill that gets better with each art class I take.
