Carmen has several years of experience across multiple design disciplines and has worn many hats throughout her career. She thrives on taking on a wide range of projects, from website designs to print layouts and everything in between. With a strong focus on the digital space, Carmen is passionate about human-centered design and creating meaningful user experiences. Whether it’s a small task or a larger campaign, she is always excited to explore new opportunities, putting the user first and creating thoughtful, high-quality designs. ​During her career, Carmen has worked at one of Cleveland’s top ad agencies, partnering with great brands to create impactful work, and has more recently contributed to several award-winning projects. Outside of work, Carmen gets inspiration from the world around her, constantly finding new ideas and creativity in the visuals she encounters.

Whether it's nature, art, or everyday life, she is always exploring ways to bring fresh perspectives into her designs. I'm Carmen, an Interactive designer with 3 years experience in the Technology Field. I create UI design on applications and website for a wide-range of device. My best interested is to produce practical, functional yet creative UI designs not only balance client's practical needs, but also look good. I also wears many hats and works as a Graphic Designer, creating stunning graphics being my lifelong passion, I help company to visualize or redesign their ideas through logo and branding. I am Carmen Cornejo.

I am currently a senior at SIUE. Wix is a website builder that lets any business or individual build their own professional website. By combining design tools and business solutions in one AI-powered platform, Wix makes it easy for anyone to create without limits and scale confidently online. My research focuses on the semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) and its potential applications in technology. Specifically, I am investigating the annealing of aluminum ions onto SiC through a process called channeling. This involves using an induction furnace that reaches temperatures up to 2000°C.

In my work, I am experimenting with various factors and conditions to determine the most efficient methods that yield the best results for enhancing the material’s properties. By exploring these different approaches, I aim to optimize the process for ion implantation and high-temperature annealing. My research helps me develop expertise in material processing, semiconductor characterization, and experimental analysis while contributing to advances in technology solutions. My research includes various responsibilities, I manage various tasks critical to ensuring smooth and safe lab operations. I attend weekly meetings to discuss progress and set goals, organize and plan experiments, and handle sample management. I also oversee lab activities and safely operate the induction furnace.

Additionally, I coordinate tasks for helpers and guide them to support our research objectives. University of Florida, Material Science department ​ Biological Engineering with an agricultural focus, is a very multifaceted program that integrates biology, technology, and engineering to address sustainable agriculture challenges. My minor in Material Science Engineering complements this by deepening my understanding of materials and their processing. This combination equips me with the skills to explore semiconductor technology and apply advanced materials to hopefully enhance agricultural practices in the future. I conceptualized and designed a landing page for The Ohio Lottery as a key component of the innovative, award-winning "Playable Radio" campaign, where we transformed the traditional radio platform into an interactive game.

I conducted user interviews to gather valuable insights, then analyzed the findings to wireframe and prototype an interactive style quiz tool for KraftMaid’s website. The tool is designed to help users identify their favorite interior design styles based on elements they like. I led the creation of a new website for the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Ohio from start to finish, evaluating existing content, strategizing a new sitemap, and designing a fresh website identity... I played a key role in designing an entirely new app experience for The Ohio Lottery. From brainstorming and wireframing to creating a final design, I helped change the user experience into something fresh, engaging, and user-friendly. I designed a microsite inspired by a cooking blog, tying into TroyBilt's larger Low, Slow & Mow campaign.

The site showcases recipes from popular influencers that can roast, simmer, or cook while using Troy-Bilt equipment to do yard work. As of this writing, I have been 4 years (approximately 1460 days, 35040 hours, 2102400 minutes and 126144000 seconds) obsessed in helping business owners with strategizing and marketing their business online. Passionate about learning new skills and ways to sell a product or service, providing solutions to complex business situations and finding ways to bring in sales through marketing.
