I used to take my DSLR with me on vacation. I used to. That is because I'd be walking down the street with family or friends and they'd have to constantly wait for me or push me along because; I want to try to compose this one... I love showing the beauty of the world. There are so many amazing places and things to see, and honestly, composing a good frame is like a rush for me. My affection for video production started in the summer of 2003 when I went to see the blockbuster, "X2 X-Men United" in theaters.

I walked in a little late because I cannot resist the smell of popcorn, but shortly after taking my seat I saw Hugh Jackman's Wolverine take out a squad of soldiers invading Xavier's mansion,... ASS. It was the coolest thing 12 year old me ever saw to that date. The rest of the movie didn't disappoint either, while still in the theater I decided, I wanted to make movies for the rest of my life. Watching that movie in the theater was really the first time I took notice of how I was feeling, how entertained I was. I wanted everyone to feel as excited as I felt during that movie.

Getting that introspection in a 12 year old boy is not easy. I could not wait for the next one. I watched the trailer for "X-Men The Last Stand" online about 357 times and trailers became a new love of life. It was a major summer blockbuster season with Spiderman 3, X-Men 3, and Shrek 3 all coming out. I'd watch them all on repeat for what must have been hours, imagining what was to come.
