As a photographer, I am excited to show to the world many natural beauties that people might forget or pass by. I aspire to bring to others strong emotions and make others think deeply about the abstract photos or photos that tell a story of how some people live or what they are feeling. By sharing those photos, I hope that the reader has a strong reaction and feels the calmness or sadness that the picture presents. There are common themes in my work, such as natural beauty, abstract, and people’s stories/feelings. I am inspired by the endless greenery and nature that I see daily in my neighborhood. I am also inspired by little things that I happen to pass by and try to capture because it makes me really think or feel a certain way due to it being abstract.

I am also influenced by the different types of people that I see every day and how different their lives are from each other. Before I shoot photos, I think of an idea, feeling, subject, or location that I want to capture in photographs. Then, I find a place or the location and I walk around to see what catches my eye. I try to find different vantage points and different ways of looking at the object in order for the reader to see what message I am trying to communicate or what feeling I want... Then, if I want to create an abstract photo, I might put two photos on top of eachother or cut up the photo using photoshop. Other than that, I might change the color or make minor changes with levels in photoshop.

That concludes my process for creating the work that I would like to share with the viewer. I am very drawn to themes of nature, abstract, and stories of people. I love trying to capture pictures of pure, natural, and beautiful flowers and nature. I want to share the pretty things that some people overlook or pass by, such as grass or tiny flowers. Sometimes the things that go unnoticed are the most precious things. I think that it is important for everyone to see these truly natural things and appreciate how pure and innocent the world and nature can be.

We are currently in the process of building a custom home on raw land, which has its own unique challenges in Clark County. I love the design process. Choosing finishes and materials that will come together to create a stunning and comfortable environment. We try to re-use and re-purpose as many things as we can to be more conscious of our surroundings, and we support our local habitat for humanity. Keeping this in mind, we have created a product that we love and believe in. With our products we work to help bridge the gaps between health, accessibility, and affordability. We want to ensure everyone is able to access our products and work hard behind the scenes to keep them affordable. We love to give out free health information, whether through our health coaching company Tara Jean Health or our social accounts. 2003 - University of Nebraska at Kearney Bachelor of Arts in Education Endorsements in Elementary Education (K-6), Secondary Spanish Education (7-12), and English as a Second Language (K-12) I was born and raised in O'Neill, Nebraska. I've been married to my husband, Paul, since 2002. My husband is currently pursuing a degree in school counseling and is a substitute teacher. We have 3 children and a dog.

Samuel was born in 2009, Lillian in 2011, and Adelynn in 2014. Luna, our dog, is a mini-Bernedoodle. She joined our family in the summer of 2023. I love reading, baking and chasing after my kids. I am drawn to the theme of abstract where I can explore abstract objects or push myself to try and create abstract photos. I like to create abstract photos because for every person that sees the photos, it tells a different story.

The photo can be seen differently because of someone’s past memories or how they are feeling at the moment. I enjoy sharing the abstract photos because it is unique and personal to everyone. Each person can have a chance to interpret the photo in their own way.
