Over the last three years, FRONTLINE has collaborated with ProPublica to investigate the rise of extremism in America. “American Insurrection” is a new timely documentary that probes far-right groups and leaders who were responsible for the recent violence and threats. “American Insurrection” will explore how far-right groups were encouraged by President Donald Trump, how these individuals were radicalized and brought into this political landscape and the concerns people feel moving forward from these events.
