The Charley Project has started a Patreon, if you wish to support it on there. The project turned 21 years old on October 12th, and the 17,000th case was also added that month. The Charley Project profiles over 17,000 “cold case” missing people mainly from the United States. It does not actively investigate cases; it is merely a publicity vehicle for missing people who are often neglected by the press and forgotten all too soon. A person must have been missing for at least one year to be listed; see the FAQ for additional information on the site, its goals, and its founder/administrator. This week’s featured missing person is Daniel Andy Tsosie, a 21-year-old who disappeared from Chinle, Arizona on July 1, 2014.

He is 5’6 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and is a member of the Navajo Nation. He was last seen wearing a brown shirt and gray pants. Tsosie disappeared after being dropped off so he could go visit his grandparents. Very little info is available in his disappearance, but Chinle is very remote and I wonder if he got lost or injured in the desert. There really isn’t enough info to speculate. If still alive, Daniel Tsosie would be about 30 today.

So I had a prescription error with my meds; there was a typo and the new script said to take twice what I’m actually supposed to take. The insurance refused to pay and the pharmacy promised to get in touch with my doctor to fix this but meanwhile I’ve been without my meds for awhile. I know it’ll get fixed. I’m waiting. It’s probably not helping the depression any. I feel so hopeless about the future.

Terrible things are happening and I feel worse things are to come. I’ve not had any puking episodes since August, and now I’m on my third birth control shot. I am so happy for that. Between my soda addiction and the regular episodes of being sick, one of my teeth needs to get pulled so I have an appointment for that. It doesn’t hurt at all, but it looks awful and the dentist says it must go. I really need to stop drinking soda and I keep trying but it’s difficult when others in the house drink it and it’s in the kitchen fridge three feet from my bedroom door.

I need to be more disciplined about it. Things are going a bit better for my husband and me. We’ve took in a friend last year when he was in trouble, and now that he has gotten back on his feet a bit he’s been elevated to “roommate” status by helping with bills. My husband’s back he broke last summer is better now and his mom is pretty settled into the nursing home and seems happy there. We visit once a week. I will be updating today and doing the best I can under the circumstances.

I am going through a pretty bad time mentally due to current events and it’s hard to force myself to do anything. It feels like nothing matters. But I have posted an update for today and might work on the site more later. Take care of yourself. The world is exhausting and terrifying right now, but take comfort in knowing all the good you have done. I’ve been in a panic since Friday.

Every day the news gets worse. The fact that I knew this would happen and why it would happen, doesn’t make it any better. So sorry you are feeling so bad, Meaghan. It’s not fun. I’ve suffered for years, on and off with depression and this one has been a long one since beginning of January. I enjoy your blog and work very much and I’ll pray for you to feel better really soon!
