During semester eight, I will improve my performance through several goals, which are improving my classroom management, reducing teacher talk and implementing activities for different learning styles. My goals are tied to five teaching competencies, first is Commitment to profession which will present my professionalism through being punctual. Second is planning for learning where I will show well planned lessons. Third is implementing and managing learning, where I will implement different activities, and manage the classroom. Four is assessment, where I will check the student’s work through portfolio and worksheets. Five is reflection, I will reflect on my lessons to improve myself.

As a commitment to the profession of teaching, I plan to maintain the responsibilities of an academic professional by following the laws, policies, and ethical values. I will be a fully dedicated teaching professional who invests my time and knowledge to my students. I plan to improve my professional development through seminars and volunteer work. Overall, my commitment to professional development is to become a life-long learner and a firm believer that all students can learn if given the opportunities necessary for a positive learning environment. One of the most satisfying professional developments I have participated in was my volunteer work with Mary C. Snow.

Each week, I would create activities for the students in the after-school program. For example, the fourth and fifth graders in the program developed a time capsule. In the capsule, students included a biography and pictures. The students decided when they would open their time capsule. The purpose of the time capsule was to show the growth of the student within a given time period. To show commitment to professional development, I believe it is important to attend science seminars.

These seminars continually expand my knowledge about real world problems and scientific advancements, which can then be taught to my students. I attended a fascinating seminar about acid salt lakes and how these lakes can describe the formation and existence of life on Mars. As a future educator, I believe students should be aware of scientific research and how this research affects people on a local and global scale. During year 4 practicum, I will achieve and develop 3 goals, which are improving my teaching approaches, management strategies and relationship with learners. My goals are related to the five competencies. First competency is "professionalism and understanding", where I have to follow the school roles, and show respect to staff, teachers and students. Second competency is "planning for learning", where I aim to plan for my lessons and design different activities that meet the individual learner needs. Another competency is "implementing and managing learning", where I will use different teaching and learning methods, also apply classroom management strategies to manage the students’ learning and behaviors. For the competency of "monitoring and assessment", I will measure the students’ progress by asking questions and provide worksheets to check understanding.

The last competency is "reflection", where I have to reflect on my teaching based on MCT and MST feedback. I have implemented different professional development goals that I want to achieve to develop student performance and my teaching performance. Thus, the commitment to professional development goals section provides implementation strategies, justification, and their connection to the competencies areas with supportive visual evidence. I create this speaker, for each group. Therefore, when I asked for the answer from the group the speaker of the group will hold this and asay the answer . This is a classroom, cabinet of resources.

I helped my MST to organize it, for each math and English, sciences a row I caret this assessment sheet for students after they got done form tens and once unite. This is a reword system chart, where each group will have a rocket. and they will get points through the planets , and they have to cross all plants till then end to get the presnet. This is and assessment as well for English subject where students complete the snetses with the coreect word.
