These sample tests show you what a full test paper will look like and the types of questions that will appear. The examination report describes how candidates performed in these tests and offers you guidance on how to prepare for your examination. By default, DELTA module 1 exam papers are written with a font size of Arial point 11 for all rubrics. However, in every session there will be material reproduced from other sources. The print on these materials is likely to be smaller than point 11 and in different font styles. If you think this might be challenging for you to work with, please speak to your centre as soon as possible to discuss using the A3 unmodified version.

DELTA Module 1 exam papers are available as A3 unmodified versions. This means that the question paper is enlarged to A3 size. This is not modified large print and the material you see in the question paper which is reproduced from other sources (e.g. published course books, learner work in original handwriting, articles from newspapers or online sources etc.) may not be fully accessible to you if you have a severe vision impairment. Here are links to a few new tools and websites I’ve discovered or been introduced to over the past few days. Kahoot is a great site where teacher’s can design quizzes and surveys that students can play on their mobile devices in class. It makes for fast, frantic and fun classes with competitive, engaged students.

I’m definitely going to be putting this one to the test this term. A great site offering texts in a number of different languages with instant translations, simply click on the word you don’t understand and the translation appears above it. The site then generates a flashcard set based on the words you’ve clicked on. This is a post in a series of 30 minute classes for young learners.
