Voters who live in Denton ISD have passed Proposition A, the district's voter-approved tax ratification election for a 5-cent property tax rate increase. Denton ISD has a 5-cent property tax rate increase on the ballot Tuesday. Proposition A asks voters to ratify increasing the tax rate to $1.2069 per $100 property valuation, which the district says will raise an additional $28.8 million next year.
