For those without formal entry requirements, applications will also be considered on the basis of experiential learning. If the university or college still has places available you can apply after this date, but your application is not guaranteed to be considered.

This updated requirement will apply to all new applications for the January 2026 intake onwards. These are assessed individually for their content and level, and against relevant guidelines such as the British Council and the National Academic Recognition Information Centre for the United Kingdom (NARIC UK). Check that you meet the entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate degree. The General Entrance Requirements identify the minimum qualifications needed for application to a course at Ulster University. The minimum required for any programmes is a minimum of passes in five subjects, two of which must be at A level (grades A-E) or equivalent (three at A Level for full-time undergraduate courses)...
