In these situations, you can turn to: Open university courses at Arbis are developed in cooperation with the University of Helsinki and Åbo Akademi University. We offer complete educational sciences and course units in everything from humanities and social sciences to psychology and health sciences.

The courses are held by the universities’ own lecturers and experts, and it is possible to register study points for all courses. You do not need a specific study background and there is no age limit. You can choose one or several courses in the subject(s) that interest you. The Open University gives you the opportunity to become acquainted with university studies. Please note that studies at the Open University do not give the right to study as a regular student at ÅAU, nor does it constitute an eligible basis for a visa application.
