The Big Apple may experience some flurries early Tuesday, but it will likely shift to rain, the meteorologists said. New York City should expect one to two inches of precipitation. Northwest New Jersey, meanwhile, could get one to three inches of snow on Tuesday. The Big Apple typically records 4.8 inches of snowfall in December, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
