Fans are slamming Jelly Roll amid his latest career move, which has some feeling that he has no “loyalty.” More so, they are starting to believe that he has forgotten where he came from... So, what exactly happened, and is there a chance that he can bounce back? Keep reading for more details. Jelly Roll is currently in the midst of his Beautifully Broken Tour, the biggest tour of his career. Fans were thrilled when the tickets became available in February 2024 despite the tour not beginning until August. They waited in online queues, spent a pretty penny, and made the proper arrangements to finally see Jelly up close and personal.

He then shared he would be kicking off Season 50 of SNL on September 28th which was extremely exciting. Yet, it was also the same night he was set to perform at the UBS Arena on Long Island. Maybe he was doing both which isn’t far-fetched as it is about an hour’s drive. On Wednesday, September 18th, ticketholders were alerted that the UBS show had a new date. It had been moved from Saturday, September 28th to Monday, October 7th. What bothered fans was not only that he chose SNL over an obligation he had for seven months but that the show had been moved from a Saturday to a Monday.

This did not work for those who had to work or the fans who were traveling for the show. Refunds were offered via Ticketmaster though some were not eligible. Finally, Jelly did not even apologize or offer a sincere explanation. A post shared by Jelly Roll (@jellyroll615) Soon enough, fans took to his social media to share their disdain and thoughts. Despite how much he has done for those in need and more, that all went right out of the window.

Fans stated that Jelly has “zero loyalty” and although they respected him being on SNL, it was not enough to move the show. Jelly Roll has had one of the most unique success stories in recent memory. He spent nearly a decade in prison for drug charges. Upon release, he threw himself into creating music. While he’s now known as a country singer, he got his start in rap and hip-hop. The genres are never far from his heart.

His recent collaboration with Lil Wayne blew his mind so much, he wasn’t sure if there was anything left to achieve in the music industry. But there is, and he’s not done yet. He recently begged fans to help him make one more dream come true. Keep reading for all the details. Jelly Roll broke through the country charts in 2023 with his song “Son of a Sinner.” He’s released hit after hit since then. In addition to his music career, he uses his platform for good.

He went to Washington, D.C., last year to testify at a congressional hearing about the nation’s fentanyl crisis. During his testimony, the singer shared his personal experience with drug abuse and urged lawmakers to pass the FEND Off Fentanyl Act aimed at disrupting the flow of fentanyl in the U.S. The act Act has been signed into law, partly due to Jelly Roll’s candid testimony. As an unexpected role model, Jelly Roll never misses the opportunity to interact with his young fans. He recently made headlines for his wholesome interaction with a special needs fan. Jelly Roll’s career is still on the rise but he’s already reached some big milestones.

He appeared as a mentor on the recent season of American Idol. The “Save Me” singer is currently on tour with another big name in the music industry – Post Malone. In the modern era of the music business, when so much of success relies on artists’ connection with fans via social media, it’s rare to see any artist completely disconnect. Yet, Jelly Roll — one of the breakout stars of modern country music after jumping genres in 2021 — has made it a point to do. He hasn’t made a new post since April 10. So why did the breakout star quit social media?

As his wife, influencer Bunnie Xo, revealed in a preview of her podcast Dumb Blonde, the Tennessee native decided to step away from social media after being bullied over his weight. Earlier this month, he told fans he was training to run a 5K marathon next month. When he shared his goal, and said he wanted to lose 100 lbs. after already losing 70 lbs., the response was less than encouraging, however. “I’ve really been kicking ass, man. I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week,” he said.

“I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I’m eating healthy right now. I was thinking, I plan on losing another 100, 100-and-something. If I feel this good down weight, man, I can only imagine what I’m going to feel like by the time I go on tour.” Jelly Roll’s Beautifully Broken Tour is set to begin... In a clip from the upcoming episode of Dumb Blonde, Bunnie addressed the backlash. “My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f*cking weight,” she said.

“My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him… The internet can say whatever the f*ck they want about you. And they say, ‘Well you’re a celebrity, you’re supposed to be able to handle it.’ No, the f*ck we’re not.” You can watch the clip below and the full episode tomorrow. A post shared by Bunnie Xo.
