As a Master’s student in *Global Communications and Clean Air, Water, and Energy*, I had the opportunity to explore important global topics like sustainability, responsible communication, and behavioral change in depth. The courses were thoughtfully designed, and I especially appreciated how theory was consistently linked to real-world applications.

What stood out to me most was the multicultural learning environment and how supportive the teaching staff were. As an international student, I felt welcomed and encouraged to actively participate in discussions and projects. Group assignments and academic presentations helped me grow in confidence, improve my research skills, and develop critical thinking. Outside of the classroom, adapting to life in Finland taught me independence and resilience. I learned to navigate cultural differences, manage my time better, and stay motivated even during the long winter months. LUT University continues to have the most satisfied university students in Finland.

Student satisfaction was charted in the 2022 Finnish Bachelor’s Graduate Survey. LUT's average score for student satisfaction in all fields of study was 3.78, which was highest out of the 13 Finnish universities in the survey. “Student satisfaction this strong is a stellar outcome for us. We're very proud, and naturally, we aim to do as well in the future,” says Juha-Matti Saksa, rector of LUT University. Saksa assesses that the excellent feedback score is a result of LUT's low hierarchy and long-standing efforts to create a good campus climate. In addition, the university has recently invested in the quality of education and student services.

Moreover, in all fields of technology combined, student satisfaction at LUT was the third highest in Finland (average score 3.9). In business student satisfaction, LUT shared second place (average score 3.83). In the latest Finnish Business School Graduates’ survey, LUT Business School shared first place in student satisfaction.
