LUT University is a public science university in Finland, bringing together the fields of technology, business, and social and communication sciences. Our degree programmes are developed in close cooperation with industry, ensuring your studies are relevant to the changing needs of your profession. Each programme is 120 ECTS credits, and you will graduate within two academic years.

The programmes are mainly on-campus, but we also offer blended learning programmes. Most of our programmes have quality labels from international accreditation organisations: EUR-ACE, Euro-Inf, and ASIIN in technology and AACSB and EFMD in business. We have two different admission windows: Regular Admission including all our Master's programmes and Early Admission including a limited number of our Master's programmes. The admission windows for the LUT cooperated Master's programmes as well as for the Double Degree studies are separate ones from Early Admission and Regular Admission. Master's Programme in Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Resources The programme is only available for applicants from the partner universities within the programme. The application period for LUT University’s master’s programmes is open from 16 December 2024 to 22 January 2025.

Applicants who have completed a suitable bachelor’s degree in Finland or abroad are eligible for admission. The duration of LUT's master's degrees in technology, business, and social sciences is two years, and their scope is 120 ECTS credits. The total intake of the programmes that are now open for application is 1530 students: 1174 in technology, 296 in business, and 60 in social sciences. At total of 28 of the master’s programmes take place in Lappeenranta, 13 in Lahti, two in Kouvola, and one in Mikkeli. Some programmes can be completed alongside full-time work and partly remotely. Altogether 32 master's programmes are taught in English, and both Finnish and international applicants are eligible for them.

Students coming from beyond the EU or EEA or Switzerland pay a tuition fee of 13,500 euros per academic year. LUT’s collaboration programmes (double and triple degrees) have their own specific application periods and tuition fees. LUT Business School's new master’s programme in strategic sales examines business-to-business sales from multiple perspectives, such as digitalisation, ethics, and international business. A broad understanding of business and its fundamentals is necessary in today's global environment. Graduates of the LUT Business School master's programmes will understand the principles of sustainable development and be able to promote them in practice through their actions. At LUT, you will learn to question prevailing business practices and develop new types of entrepreneurship.

You will become an active problem solver who do not merely adapt to a changing world but actually change the world yourself. Our specialised Master of Science programmes are targeted for both international and Finnish students with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, either completed in a university worldwide or in a University of Applied Sciences... Applicants with a background in a field other than Business Administration are welcome to apply as well – there are however, additional requirements for them to be completed. The programmes require two years of full-time studies. LUT Business School is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
