naqt sample questions

The following sample packets are available for teams interested in hosting events or purchasing practice material. These are NAQT’s basic questions for middle school tournaments. These are more difficult middle school questions used at the Middle School National Championship Tournament held each spring. The sample packet is from the preliminary rounds; the playoff rounds use harder questions (with longer tossups), similar to those in the Invitational Series sets. These questions (sometimes called “A-level” sets) are intended for use at early-in-the-year high school tournaments, tournaments with new or inexperienced players, and tournaments with teams unfamiliar with NAQT questions. They can be licensed for high school, community college tournaments, and intramural college tournaments, but are probably too easy for varsity play by four-year colleges.

These are NAQT’s basic questions used at “regular” tournaments throughout the year. They can be licensed for high school, community college, and other events. Welcome to the High School Quizbowl Packet Archive! All of the packets on this site have been released by the authors for study and practice use. These packets may not be used for tournaments or anything that involves the exchange of money without the consent of the original authors. Not looking for high school questions?
