The Department of Statistics and Data Science is pleased to share the Fall 2025 Newsletter. Bo Li, the Stanley A. Sawyer Professor of Statistics and Data Science, has been appointed as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of ASA Discoveries, an open-access journal of the American Statistical Association. This year, around 5,000 statisticians traveled to JSM in Nashville, Tennessee, including at least 10+ members of the Washington University Department of Statistics & Data Science (SDS).
