Pokémon Wiki, formerly known as The Pokémon Wiki and The Pokémon Encyclopedia, is a Pokémon-centered wiki hosted on the wiki-farm Fandom (originally called Wikia). It's affiliated with Korean Pokémon Wiki. Pokémon Wiki was created in January 2005 by Jellochuu, who is no longer an active member of the wiki. Over the course of its history, the wiki has gone through a number of logo changes and a name change. It currently has over 10,000 articles on various aspects of the Pokémon franchise. After discussion among users, the Pokémon Wiki was split, with many users leaving Fandom to create a new wiki under Curse servers in association with Marriland, called Marriland Wiki.

This fork led to another Pokémon-centered wiki being formed. Other users stayed on the Fandom-hosted wiki, and with the new wiki, users had a choice to either stay on the Fandom-hosted wiki or move to the Marriland Wiki, however some of the administrators... During this time, Pokémon Wiki went through a revamp in October-November 2014 and received a new logo. Six years later, Gamepedia was acquired by Fandom themselves, bringing Marriland Wiki (now called Azurilland Wiki) back under Fandom's ownership.
