You can create posts to connect and interact with your viewers through polls, quizzes, GIFs, text, images, and video. Your audience can find your posts on your channel page either on the Posts shelf in the Home tab or in the Posts tab. Posts may also show up on their homepage, Subscriptions feed, or Shorts feed. If they’re subscribed to your channel they may get a notification when you post. Engaging with other creators’ posts may increase the chance of your viewers seeing those posts across YouTube. If your channel’s audience is set as "Made for Kids," your Posts tab will only be visible to you and not your viewers.

You also can't create new posts, but you can view past posts. You can find your posts on your channel’s Posts tab and under the Content section of YouTube Studio. To get to your posts in YouTube Studio: If you have scheduled posts for a future publish date, they will be in YouTube Studio and in the “Scheduled” section of the Posts tab. You also can find your expired posts by going to the “Archived” section of the Posts tab. This section is only visible to you.

Last updated by Linda Kamp on January 26, 2024 • Leave a Comment As much as I love reading books out loud to my classroom, sometimes it’s fun to switch it up and have special “guest” readers from YouTube. Plus, this can give you a few minutes of spare time to get caught up. Lucky for us, we live in 2024 and there are SO many read-aloud YouTube channels to choose from! If you know me (or have been following along on Facebook or Instagram), you know that I LOVE the book “You’re Finally Here” for back to school. It is the perfect addition to your first day-of-school plans.

This is why, I created a fun animated YouTube read-aloud! It’s just under 5 minutes long and guaranteed to hold the attention of all your students. After listening to the story, you then can complete any of these teaching activities and lesson ideas that go with the book! (I’d love it if you would subscribe!) This YouTube channel features a wide variety of fun and interactive read-alouds. In each video, Maya reads the story out loud and stops to engage the students through questions, fun facts, or other statements.

The proliferation of online content creation has established YouTube as a dominant platform for knowledge dissemination and creative expression.

A recurring question amongst content creators centers around the legality of reading books aloud on the platform. This article dissects the legal implications of such activities, offering a detailed examination of copyright law, fair use doctrines, and practical considerations for responsible content creation. Copyright law, enshrined in statutes like the Copyright Act of 1976 (US) and similar legislation globally, grants authors exclusive rights over their original works. These rights encompass reproduction, distribution, adaptation, public performance, and display. The Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works further harmonizes international copyright standards. In essence, copyright aims to protect the economic and moral rights of creators, incentivizing creative output.

Unauthorized exploitation of copyrighted material constitutes copyright infringement, potentially leading to legal repercussions. The Fair Use Doctrine represents a crucial exception to copyright law. It permits limited use of copyrighted material without requiring explicit permission from the copyright holder. This exception is codified in Section 107 of the Copyright Act and is intended to balance the rights of copyright holders with the public’s interest in free speech, education, and creativity. The determination of fair use hinges on a four-factor test: These four factors are weighed holistically; no single factor is decisive.

Case law further refines the application of these factors, requiring a fact-specific analysis in each situation.
