Help for Heroes (HFH) is a charity for “wounded veterans and their families”. They provide services for visible and non-visible injuries such as clinical services and phycological wellbeing services; specifically, the “Hidden Woods Service”. I like this charity as the military service is considered a taboo subject, and there is a stigma around ex-veterans. There are not many charities with this in their focus which can be hard for ex-veterans and their families to seek help. However, the execution of the charity in terms of presentation in their website needs improvement. HFH struggles to show inclusivity and diversity on their website which can drive people away.
Instead of only showing images of only British Caucasian people on their website, they should include images of people of colour, ethnic backgrounds, cultures and religions. They should also show images of other minorities such as LGBTQ+ and disabled people. This would promote the charity as open minded and trustworthy. The charity could also improve their website by changing the colours and their logo as it looks intimidating (not to mention it is an eye sore). They should also include a customer service tab to talk people through the website, this is to help the elderly who do not know how to use technology well and for people with disabilities. They should also not hide their mental health tab and have more services available as it is currently very limited; they should have links or referrals to psychological services such as therapy and rehab...

Here are the options that were presented to the client (and they surely made a splash). In conjunction with a fabulous Art Director, we developed the copy and art for a new Pillsbury product being sold at Walmart. The headlines and subheads are supposed to be fun, quirky, and most importantly, hunger-inducing. This proposal deck consists of six headline + caption options for the Samsung products being promoted in the summertime, with an emphasis on gaming. These targeted ads were intended to be used on Samsung's official Instagram, as well as Amazon-affiliated accounts across platforms. This piece is part of a student highlight video series we created at Auburn's College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment to spotlight the Parks and Recreation major. While I conducted the interview, I did not do any of the actual videoing. I handled all of the editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, even down to the subtitles, graphics, and music! It was a great opportunity to sharpen my post-production skills while contributing to a larger storytelling and recruitment effort. This video was created for my Digital Marketing course and highlights the Auburn-Opelika Coffee Trail. It was one of my first times working in Adobe Premiere Pro, which I now love!
I filmed, edited, and published the entire piece. While it's not perfect, it taught me everything I needed to know about the production process, including the planning, shooting, editing, and publishing. This bylined feature was my first published print story in Alabama Living Magazine, covering the Franklin County Watermelon Festival. I developed the piece from concept to completion by interviewing sources, writing the article, and selecting the accompanying images. She later focused on the e-commerce industry, notably the Amazon marketplace and Shopify, where she performed exceptionally as a Product Researcher. Inevitably, she also became a website developer, working on projects for clients in Australia, the Bahamas, Italy, Croatia, Florida, New York, and Washington.
Mandated over 42+ Brand Audits with support research papers for clients in the USA (2021-2022). This includes restaurants, dermatologists, real estate agents, travel agencies, window installation, and several service-based businesses. Often times, the language formality adjusts as per clients' requests. This marketing strategy was for an event catering to over 2000+ participants and audiences that I organized as a Productions Head. Inclusive is the publication material layout guides, calendar of activities, content captions, and algorithm-based strategies. For clients with project-based contracts, I have designed brand layouts for a minimum of 30-100 days of the marketing plan.
This includes the layout, brand style guidelines, and proposals with captions and hashtags.
