Is the king dead? 👑 I’m starting to feel like Sam Altman is writing himself into history as the CEO who managed to squander the biggest lead in AI history. BUT let's be real: ChatGPT is slipping. I use it almost every single day. You probably do too. And if you’re honest with yourself, you’ve noticed it: ❌ Slower responses ❌ More hallucinations ❌ Weaker reasoning ❌ It just feels… dumber While OpenAI rests on its laurels, Google has woken up.

Gemini has gone from a “cheap knockoff” to a tool people genuinely prefer. And what’s OpenAI doing? Focusing on everything except its core product: → Operator, Sora, SearchGPT, Atlas… A constant stream of shiny new toys, while the foundation that made them billions and gave them a two-year head start is... History is full of companies that thought they were invincible: 📉 BlackBerry dominated smartphones. 📉 Yahoo owned search. 📉 Blockbuster ruled entertainment.

All of them made the same mistake: treating their position as guaranteed. So will ChatGPT turn into the next Yahoo? Let me know what you think in the comments👇 Image source: The Times It feels fine. The 5.1 model is the best it's ever been. It's just that Gemini got a lot better in a short amount of time, so I find I'm using it about as much as ChatGPT now.

I noticed the chatgpt thing too It's not as effective as before so I had to improve my prompts It helps....at least for now The biggest problem is companies that built products and solutions off the back of OpenAI, the biggest example being Microsoft. Google’s greatest advantage is its vertically integrated business and its own technology stack. Remember, Google bought DeepMind for only £400 million. Will that go down as one of the best investments in history? Only time will tell, but I do have a feeling we are heading towards a Kodak moment.

Who it will be, all bets are off. It’s easy to get complacent when you’re ahead, but the world moves fast. If OpenAI doesn’t focus on improving its core product, it might face the same fate as those companies that once dominated. René Remsik
