Our first unit goes from the beginning to the French and Indian War. This unit touches on sensitive topics such as Christopher Columbus, slavery, Thanksgiving, and Indigenous Americans. We have spent countless hours researching and trying to present this information in a way that is empathetic and allows you as the parent to decide the approach you want to take.

Due to the sensitive nature of this unit, I have included many more sample readings in the pictures so please be sure to scroll through those and read them carefully before you purchase. What's Included? You can purchase a leveled bundle with one student workbook of your choice and the Teacher's Guide, or the full family bundle that includes all levels with the Teacher's Guide. If you have more than one child you are buying for, it is more economical to get the full bundle to re-use in the future with your kids at older levels. All digital bundles come as an instant download in PDF format for you to print at home.How long are units designed to last? Each unit is designed to be 4-5 weeks.
