Utopian Quizzes Quotev
A few days ago I was wondering some things about who has actually reviewed or submitted the most contributions and other things like that, and then it hit me: why not make a fun... Luckily I had synced the old Utopian database (~58000 contributions) on my droplet and have access to the current one (~6000 contributions), so I combined both together and started thinking of questions! Some of the data is missing for some contributions (like when a contribution was created or when it was reviewed), so this means it's possible that some of the answers might be a little... If I recall correctly some scores might also be wrong or missing because there was an incident back in the day which caused some scores to be reset. Finally, there could be something wrong with the code that I used to generate the questions and answers, so no guarantees this is historically accurate! So as I mentioned it uses the data from the previous database and the current one, so the posts range from 2017-09-26 to 2018-09-08.
Because of this there could be some names you haven't seen before, but don't panic and take it easy - this is just for fun! Use the template below to post your answers in the comments and I will announce the winner(s) on one of the next few days (maybe Wednesday evening)! If there are multiple winners then the prize(s) will be split between them, of course. In Utopia, every house has a back door that leads to a garden. This suggests that Utopia values nature and green spaces, as each house is connected to a garden. Having a garden provides residents with a peaceful and relaxing outdoor space, allowing them to enjoy nature and potentially engage in gardening activities.
Additionally, gardens can contribute to the overall aesthetics and beauty of the community, enhancing the quality of life for its residents. This quiz assesses understanding of humanist beliefs and their impact on society. Thomas More originally wrote Utopia in Latin. Latin was the language commonly used by scholars and intellectuals during the Renaissance period. As a humanist and lawyer, More was well-versed in Latin and chose to write his influential work in this language. Writing in Latin allowed More to reach a wider audience of educated individuals across Europe and ensured that his ideas would be accessible to future generations. The use of Latin also added a sense of prestige and authority to the work, further enhancing its impact on society.
