A new feature in Microsoft Office 2013 allows users to easily add and interact with web-based apps directly inside of Excel and Word documents. We've created two apps for that new platform. To find our apps in Office 2013 or 2016, just go to Insert > Apps and browse the Office Store, or learn more about them below. We also have an app for iPad that includes templates we've designed specifically for the Numbers spreadsheet app. [For Excel 2007, 2010, or 2013] This add-in, created and maintained within the Ribbon Commander framework, allows you to browse our collection of templates via a ribbon in Excel. [For Excel & Word 2013, 2016, & Online] This app lets you browse Vertex42 collection of over 300 templates from within a task pane in Excel or Word.

We're not sure why Microsoft doesn't already have a good calendar date picker function in Excel yet, but now you don't have to wait. The Vertex42 Template Gallery add-on, available from the new Google add-ons store, lets you browse and get over 100 templates created specifically for Google Sheets and Google Docs. Browse over 300 professionally designed spreadsheet templates and documents, created by Vertex42.com for Excel and Word. Vertex42.com's collection includes a variety of calendars, planners, and schedules as well as some of the most popular personal finance spreadsheets for budgeting, debt reduction, and mortgage comparisons. The gallery contains business tools such as invoices, time sheets, inventory, and financial statements. Teachers and students will find resources such as class schedules, grade books, and attendance sheets.

This add-in works in: Excel 2016 or later on Mac, Excel on the web, Excel 2013 Service Pack 1 or later on Windows. Excel add-ins are software programs that extend the capabilities of Microsoft Excel, allowing you to perform more complex calculations, analyze data more effectively, and automate tasks. There are a wide variety of add-ins available, ranging from those that simply add new functions to Excel, to those that provide entire new features and applications. To open this dialog box, go to the File tab, and click Options.

In the Options dialog box, click the Add-Ins tab, and then click the Go button. In the Add-Ins dialog box, select the add-in that you want to install (Download Vertex42 Templates Gallery from the link below) , and then click OK. Update 4/16/2025 - This add-on has been discontinued. We are working on something different. The Vertex42 Template Gallery add-on lets you browse a gallery of more than 100 templates for Google Sheets and Docs, including calendars, financial calculators, invoices, budget spreadsheets, letters, and other time-saving tools. After the add-on is installed, you can access the template gallery by going to Add-ons > Template Gallery > Browse Templates.
