Communicate with us about your reading experience. Complete this survey to let us know how things are going and if there are ways we can be of assistance. Consider becoming an Everybody Wins! volunteer today! We rely on our volunteers to create a welcoming, fun environment where people are cared for and connected to tangible resources and hope. Volunteering with us offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

You will get to know and care for others experiencing or at risk of homelessness in New York City, Paterson and Newark, NJ. More times than not, you are the one who walks away changed. We are excited to have you join our team and invite you to see just how impactful your contribution can be. Do you have questions about bringing your group to serve for a day or a week? Contact us, we would love to have you! We want to give you the tools for a great day!

Scroll down to FAQs for more about what to expect at a day of outreach and answers to common questions like where to find parking, what to wear, what to bring and more! We would love to have your group join us to serve! If you're booking for a group of 6 or more people, please use this group reservation form for more information and to reserve your spots. We have opportunities for teams of up to twelve to join City Relief for a life-changing five-day service trip, which includes four days of street outreach, lodging, meals, training, debriefing, and reflective devotional time. The 2025 Service Trips Request form is open now. Visit the page below to get started.

In 2006, Book’em joined forces with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), the largest children's literacy organization in the United States. Today, Book’em administers the RIF program in 15 Title I Metro Nashville elementary schools and is working to be able to serve more schools in the future. Each classroom is visited by a volunteer reader five times throughout the school year, during which the reader engages the students through interactive reading. At the end of each visit, students each pick their own book to keep and enjoy at home.

Each child ends the school year with five new books in their home library, a relationship with a reading role model, and (we hope!) a re-energized love of books and reading. Locally, the RIF program now serves over 7,000 children a year through a network of more than 250 reading role model volunteers, distributing 31,000+ books annually. RIF is FULL for the 2025-2026 school year, and we cannot thank you enough for your support! If you were unable to join us this year, fill out our Volunteer Interest Form here so we know to keep you in mind for RIF next school year. Currently volunteering with us and have questions? We've created a resources page just for you.
