We’re back! The call for facilitators for the upcoming World Futures Day (WFD) 2025 has been launched! World Futures Day is a unique 25-hour global conversation about possible futures, pioneered by The Millennium Project in 2014 two years after Humanity+ proposed to launch a Future Day on March 1st. The method is the first of its kind. Unlike any other initiative, it method enables futurists and the public to engage in an open, worldwide dialogue, moving across time zones from New Zealand to Hawaii. This participatory futures method has evolved collaboratively, making it an unparalleled space for discussion and exploration.

March 1st will mark the 12th anniversary of World Futures Day, sponsored by The Millennium Project in collaboration with the Association of Professional Futurists, Humanity+, Lifeboat Foundation, World Academy of Art and Science, and... The event will be launched at 12 noon in New Zealand, progressing each hour around the planet until it concludes at 12 noon in Hawaii. To ensure the smooth operation of this global event, facilitators play a crucial role in guiding discussions, fostering engagement, and maintaining the flow of conversation across different time zones. Their contribution is essential in making World Futures Day an enriching and seamless experience for all participants.
