มหกรรมการแข่งขันอีสปอร์ตของชาวเอเชีย Asian Esports Games Bangkok 2024

ประเทศไทย เปิดตัวการแข่งขัน Asian Esports Games 2024 การแข่งขันกีฬาอีสปอร์ตครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ของชาวไทย จัดโดยสมาคมกีฬาอีสปอร์ตแห่งประเทศไทย (TESF) ร่วมกับ สหพันธ์กีฬาอิเล็คทรอนิคส์แห่งเอเชีย (AESF) ภายใต้การดูแลของการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย (SAT) โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณในการจัดงานจาก กองทุนพัฒนาการกีฬาแห่งชาติ (NSDF) ซึ่งได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร.ก้องศักด ยอดมณี ผู้ว่าการ การกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นประธานในการเปิดการแข่งขันอย่างเป็นทางการ และนายสันติ โหลทอง นายกสมาคมกีฬาอีสปอร์ตแห่งประเทศไทยในฐานะประธานจัดการแข่งขัน กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์ในการจัดงานในครั้งนี้ ร่วมกับ Mr. Sebastian Lau AESF Director General จากสหพันธ์กีฬาอิเล็คทรอนิคส์แห่งเอเชีย ที่เข้ามาร่วมดำเนินการจัดการแข่งขัน Asian Esports Games Bangkok 2024 โดยการแข่งขัน Asian Esports Games Bangkok 2024 จัดขึ้นตั้งแต่วันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน – 1 ธันวาคม 2567 ณ สนามกีฬา อินดอร์ สเตเดียม หัวหมาก ซึ่งมีการแข่งขันชิงชัยกันทั้งหมด 3 เหรียญทอง ประกอบไปด้วย 1. Mobile Legends Bang Bang (ประเภททีมหญิง)

สำหรับรอบแบ่งกลุ่ม ทีมตัวแทนจากแต่ละประเทศจะถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม และแข่งกันด้วยกฎการแข่งขันแบบ Bo2 หลังจบการแข่งขัน 2 ทีมที่อันดับดีสุดในแต่ละกลุ่มจะผ่่านเข้ารอบเพลย์ออฟ Asian Esports Games to be Held in Bangkok, Thailand this November On October 4, the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Thailand Esports Federation (TeSF) at the Sports Authority of Thailand. During the event, they officially announced that the Asian Esports Games (AEG) will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 25 to December 3, 2024. AESF Director General Sebastian Lau attended the signing ceremony. This year’s AEG will feature team competitions such as Arena of Valor and women’s events like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

The ceremony highlights included Thai dance performances, a flag-bearing ceremony, and technical officials' and athletes' oath. The AEG features 29 countries and regions with 179 national athletes, making it one of the biggest Asian esports events after the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022. Notably, 20 women’s national teams are competing in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang women’s event, with debut entries from team Thailand, Timor-Leste, Iran and China PR, among others. The eFootball event has 23 participating countries and regions, representing over half of Asia, while nine teams compete in the Arena of Valor event.
