Known as the “MIT of Thailand” we at KMITL and KRIS, we draw from our expertise in a wealth of disciplines and industries to make the impossible possible. For this first series, we will be focusing on SDG7 which is Affordable and Clean Energy. Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be sharing our insights and initiatives towards developing clean energy that is sustainable and accessible to all. 💭Takebacks from one of the most pivotal talks during the 2-day event was the “Upskill, Reskill and Newskill-3 King Mongkut’s Institutions Join Forces for Sustainable Success” session which brought together all three higher education... On stage was our very own Associate Professor Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of KMITL, Associate Professor Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and Professor. Dr. Suchart Siengchin, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.

The 3 visionary leaders discussed the challenges that face Thailand and neighboring emerging economies. It was evident that the staffing of specialists, number of experts in the field and limited resources often hinder the capacity of our industries to grow. Although these challenges pose barriers to success, together, they can be overcome with allied partnerships between the King Mongkut’s Higher Education System. Each of our prestigious institutions, KMITL, KMUTT, and KMUTNB all possess superior expertise and when combined to create a proactive ecosystem to develop the skills and provide frameworks for industrial workforces, the end product... 🎯 With the ultimate goal of implementing credit banks for higher education, the reality of shared study among different universities is just beyond the horizon. According to Dr.

Komsan, “we need to develop integrated academic and practical systems that can be shared with students and lifelong learners of all ages and skill levels.
