Vet2Sustain project developes cooperation between VET schools and working life in European countries. Vocational Education and Training (VET) is a critical component of preparing individuals for working life. As the needs of the labour market evolve and change, education must also adapt. We will improve the quality of VET practices based on the needs of the labour market. Meanwhile we will confirm cooperation between VET providers, companies, chambers, national authorities, and other stakeholders by developing Joint VET qualifications. We create a strong future oriented European level network, that creates a vision, strategy and action plan with the goal of stronger cooperation in the future.

Ulderup – hosted the traditional IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) Freisprechung ceremony. This festive event marked an important milestone for apprentices completing their vocational training in the Diepholz region.

De eerste dag hielden we bij NETH-er in Brussel — de Nederlandse vertegenwoordiging voor onderwijs, kennis en onderzoek bij de EU, recht tegenover het Europees Parlement. We maakten kennis met elkaar en namen het programma door.

Daarna bezochten we het Parlamentarium, waar de groep zich verdiepte in de Europese politieke geschiedenis. De tweede dag vond plaats in Antwerpen, in het Provinciehuis, gehost door CVO Vitant. Tijdens de workshops gingen de studenten met elkaar in gesprek over hoe het MBO toekomstbestendiger kan worden, aan de hand van vier centrale thema’s: digitalisering, inclusie, groene transitie en duurzaamheid. De gesprekken lieten zien hoe studenten uit verschillende landen dezelfde uitdagingen herkennen.
